Fresh Breath Cookie Dog Treats

Fresh Breath Cookie Dog TreatS

Who doesn’t love dog kisses? As much as we love them, sometimes dogs can get bad breath from plaque build-up caused by infrequent brushing, insufficient water intake, or just from the foods they eat. Our simple homemade dog treats will help get rid of your dog’s bad breath and start enjoying those kisses!

    1. Preheat the oven to 325° F
    2. Add oats to a blender and pulse to a flour like consistency.
    3. In a large bowl whisk together diced parsley and mint, egg, water, and oil.
    4. Add oat flour and stir to combine.
    5. Knead dough a few times then turn out onto a lightly floured surface.
    6. Using your hands or a rolling pin, flatten dough to about 1/8″ thick.
    7. Using a cookie cutter or knife cut out approximately 40 (1-inch mints) mints. Place mints about 1/4-inch a part on a parchment lined or non-stick cookie sheet.
    8. Bake 35-40 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

    Notes;

    Allow mints to cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container for 3-5 days
