Salmon Jerky Recipe


This is a relatively easy treat to make, and your dog is sure to love it!.

You can also tailor the recipes to your dog’s taste preferences as well as any dietary restrictions.

  1. Place the salmon in the freezer for about 45 minutes. Makes it easier to slice.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the infredients together. Place in a zip lock bag or in a seal tight bowl.
  3. Remove the salmon from freezer. Slice against the grain into 1/4" strips.
  4. Add the salmon strips into the marinade, and marinate for 3-4 hours refridegerated.
  5. Using your dehydrator, set the tempurature at 145 degrees.
  6. Lay your salmon strips on the trays, and dehydrate for 6-8 hours.
  7. After finished, store in a cool dry place in an airtight container.


Leave the skin on for an extra crispy treat and a great source of Omega 3's

Pet Chef Salmon Jerky recipe


1 ea. Salmon fillet, skin on (@ 1 - 1/2 lb.)

1/2 cup Lite Soy Sauce

1/4 cup Water

2 tbsp Molasses

1/2 tsp Ginger (or 1 tsp fresh grated)

1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
